Justin Peter Gardiner Lowe / Philanthropy
Philanthropy
Two commitments held for the long term: the health of the ocean, and the independence of people as they age.
Surfrider Foundation, Miami Chapter
Justin serves as a Board Member of the Miami Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, the non-profit dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's ocean, waves and beaches. The chapter's work is local and practical: water quality testing, beach access, plastic reduction and coastal resilience in a city that lives at sea level.
Meet the team →Fit For Life Foundation
Justin is a Senior Advisor to the Fit For Life Foundation, founded by the Lowe family, which supports healthy ageing and independent mobility in ageing societies worldwide. Its premise is simple: mobility kept is independence kept, and the interventions that preserve it are cheap compared with what replaces them.

Long horizons,
in giving as in investing
Both commitments reward patience rather than announcement. A coastline protected and a decade of independent movement are results that accumulate quietly, over years, and are noticed mostly in their absence.
It is the same standard applied at Gardiner Investments: take a position, take a seat, and stay long enough to be accountable for the outcome.
